Quality System Support Specialist

Currently seeking a Quality System Support Specialist to become part of the HIROTEC team. This person is responsible for:
- Understanding and application of QMS, including IATF and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and principles.
- Audit controlled document files in preparation for regulatory inspections.
- Assist Quality Manager during facility audits (customer audit, external and internal audit) including scheduling, hosting and preparing audit responses.
- Work with subject matter experts to ensure audit record content is accurate, well documented, and meets the requirement of the process.
- Follow up completion of facility audit findings, corrective and/or preventative actions, as well as response activities for customer initiated issues.
- Act as Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 Internal Audit and report nonconformity and recommends opportunities for improvement.
- Mentor new and existing auditors with all phases of the audit interview and reporting process.
- Manage IATF Core Tools (PPAP / APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) documentation and reports
- Generate and review IATF/ISO procedures and Quality related procedures/instructions, including process maps.
- Ensure the promotion of awareness of Quality Policy and Objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s of Science degree or equivalent, minimum of 2 years of experience with Quality Systems in a manufacturing environment, understanding of quality management system (QMS) for IATF requirements, Environmental Management System (EMS) for ISO 14001 (2015), and strong Microsoft Office skills required. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
