The Digital Account Manager will be responsible for the retention and growth of our clients. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for marketing clients and provide awesome customer service, so you must be a people-person and be able to lead a virtual meeting confidently. You’ll work directly with the founder, technical team, and a number of contractors. We maintain a small, high touch, high value portfolio of clients. Many of them attribute their successes to our efforts. Most of our clients also maintain internal marketing teams that use our tools and leadership on projects.
What you will be doing:
- Assisting in maintaining existing and prospective clients through a consultative and strategy-driven approach
- Must love data! Interpreting, summarizing, and delegating conversion problems accordingly using our client specific real-time reporting dashboard
- Delegating work to our marketing contractors
- Recommending additional product offerings when the opportunity makes sense for the client
- Completing daily tasks and follow up calls and emails in a timely manner
- Holding team and clients accountable to regular client meetings and check-ins
- Summarizes key points from meetings for clients
- Occasionally creates landing pages, updates website content and coordinates blog postings
Requirements
- 3-4 years experience in digital marketing account management or project management
- A drive to stay up-to-date on cutting edge digital marketing trends and industry best practices
- Ability to solve problems, identify opportunities and make recommendations through data analysis/KPI's
- Excellent verbal and written communication; not afraid to follow up and be persistent with clients
- Experience with Google Ads, Facebook, Bing and/or other digital advertising channels as needed (We have ad experts, but general knowledge preferred)
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Tag Manager preferred
- Experience with ROI, digital advertising and campaign management
- Experience with Wordpress preferred
- Self-motivation with the ability to work both independently and within a team
