The position would be leading the team responsible for recruiting distributors and brands to sell on our marketplace. The ideal candidate would have experience in B2B sales, digital marketing, analytics and team management. The perfect candidate would have experience in ecommerce, brand management or have worked in a management role at a major distributor. The retail director will have the opportunity to establish systems, culture and build a team.
We plan to build an audience of millions of people every month through partnerships. The ecommerce solution aims to keep retail dollars in local communities rather than sending that capital to monolithic corporations. The potential is enormous not just to be successful, but to change the landscape in online retail.
We are located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, 90 minutes south of St. Louis. Cape is a vibrant, family friendly riverfront town with a great restaurant scene, breweries, wineries, great parks and trails and a housing market that is very affordable.
Compensation will be commensurate on experience, but we’re looking for an experienced professional who has previously held management positions.
