A startup seeking to revolutionize ecommerce is looking for an enthusiastic Ecommerce Recruitment Manager to help us attract brands and distributors to our new platform. Our company aims to connect brands and products to customers
through popular local websites and organizations, with whom we will form partnerships. This role won’t be in charge of selling anything, but rather convincing brands and distributors to adopt our new model of commerce which is leveraged by audience acquisition rather than traditional product-to-market methods. Our idea aims to provide a robust online shopping platform option with the idea of keeping dollars local. Candidates should have a background in sales and/or marketing, preferably in the B2B arena. Experience in leading teams or projects is a huge plus, as is experience with SEO and digital marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit brands, manufacturers and distributors to sell their products on our platform
  • Actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
  • Analyze product placements, ecommerce design and user experience on the platform
  • Hire and manage associates to carry out recruitment strategy, as needed
  • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts
  • Building relationships with vendor clients and overseeing client retention
  • Awareness and compliance with ecommerce regulations
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

Requirements

  • Full-Time, On-Site Availability in the Cape Girardeau, MO Location
  • Previous experience as a sales or marketing executive, manager or director
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Knowledge of online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics, SEO practices and and Google AdWords
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with B2C social media
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
  • BS/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
  • Professional Chartered Marketer (CIM) is a plus
