The Venture Associate is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing activities in support of organizational objectives. This includes activities related to driving operational excellence, organizational processes to improve efficiency and minimize complexities, and to create opportunities for synergies across departments.
Responsibilities:
- This role will work cross-functionally in Olive Ventures, collaborating closely with the leadership across the Ventures division and other organizational leaders of Olive, to deliver on operational plans that support the strategic vision for the business unit.
- Help drive cross-functional directives and projects
- Oversee and manage the organizational onboarding process
- Organize and coordinate with key stakeholders in order to operationalize activities.
- Work with leadership team to prioritize and determine critical success factors and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the initiative or project
- Evaluate the implication of initiatives and effectively communicate impact and resolutions to business groups and senior leaders
- Measure progress and monitor performance, and report on key initiatives and milestones
- Ensure strategic objectives are met within the constraints of project scope, time, cost, and quality.
- Manage, track, and help advance processes as we continually optimize for efficency
- Engaged with leaders from across Olive to ensure Ventures leadership is aware of opportunities, roadblocks to success, and anything else pertinent to the teams success
- Collaborate with peers throughout the company, share best practices and implement new ideas and initiatives where appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience in working with executive leadership. Education and/or degree in Business Management or equivalent is desired but optional. Ideally the candidate would also possess the following:
- An entrepreneurial mindset and skillset
- Excellent leadership skills, business acumen and ability to effectively manage, lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team
- Excel at strategic thinking, be open to new perspectives and better ways to do things; and be creative, a visionary, and manage innovation well

- Must have the ability to delegate effectively
- Must possess executive-level communication and influencing skills with the ability to resolve issues, build consensus among groups of diverse internal/external stakeholders, and have proven skill in negotiating and mediating conflict
