This position is located in Chandler, AZ ( No relocation needed all expenses paid)

Requirements

3+ years of tool-specific experience. The process engineers would be slated for some process transfer and development activities as well as startup and qualification of new tools. The equipment engineers are going to be focused on new tool sourcing, facilities, startup, and release to the process team.

Toolset: Etch

  • Applied Materials Centura 5200
  • ULVAC Enviro and/or GaSonics PEP or
  • L3500 Asher highly desirable

• Monitor statistical process control for high volume manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Help drive equipment performance to maximize capacity and yield performance.
• Improve cost performance of processes/equipment.
• Participate in and/or lead cross-functional lean activities.
• Work with peers and Process Engineers to develop maintenance and troubleshooting skills

Education amp; Experience:

  • Position requires BS or higher in engineering or science
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing a plus
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing a plus
  • Ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with multiple disciplines in a 7x24 manufacturing facility
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated; able to take initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Competency in troubleshooting problems


  • Monitor, control, and qualify state of the art 200mm semiconductor equipment
  • React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment
  • Review Statistical Process Control charts for process quality and react to Out of Control conditions including defect troubleshooting
  • Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost
  • Ability to be successful in a customer-facing role, react to changes in equipment manufacturing priorities
