Job Description

WWC Global is seeking a Competitive Funds Administrator to support a potential contract with the USAID’s Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation, Center of Excellence on Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DDI/DRG).

The DRG Center Competitive Funds Administrator will organize the competitive review processes through which USAID Missions apply for the approximately $94 million available from Congressionally directed funds each fiscal year. In parallel, the fund manager will track the status of successful awards from program design through obligations, and then the reporting of results.

In addition to the responsibilities above, the Competitive Funds Administrator may be asked to:

  • Identify success stories and key achievements.
  • Serve as a member of the DRG Center’s Program Team and completing tasks as directed by the Program Team Lead.
  • The selected candidate will also provide leadership and guidance to less experience team members
  • Occasionally, the Competitive Funds Administrator may travel overseas to assist Missions in designing, implementing, or overseeing particular DRG Center funded projects or to evaluate activities.

This position is contingent on contract award.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Current, active Secret security clearance.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and/or facilitating the flow of information, finances, and correspondence, including working with online systems, websites, electronic filing and record- keeping, and databases;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate both orally and in writing; organizational skills showing attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and other database software applications;
  • Demonstrated experience in working with quantitative information including budgets;
  • Availability: ASAP
