As the Head of Product (e.g. VP Product Management) you will grow and lead our Product Management amp; Design teams, reporting directly to the CEO. You will lead the efforts to translate our company’s vision into clear plans and roadmaps, and then drive the effort to make that vision a reality. It’s all about execution, alignment, and leadership. Sureify has great market traction and is looking for a great product leader to guide us as we scale, mature our products and processes, and explore new opportunities.

Sureify’s product suite, Lifetime, solves some of the biggest problems faced by life and annuity carriers today when it comes to digital sales (LifetimeAcquire), customer engagement (LifetimeEngage), and policy servicing (LifetimeService). Our web- and native mobile-based products enable our clients to reach new customers, digitize the policy sales process, drive in-force customer engagement, and modernize the policy servicing experience

• Significantly grow the product management team
• Inject better processes and mentoring into how the product team works
• Define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders
• Build alignment around the company for product plans and difficult tradeoffs
• Engage with our technical leadership to ensure that the complex architectural decisions that need to be made are in line with customer needs
• Have a bias for action and a willingness to be hands-on
• Represent the long-term interests of our products with the rest of the company leadership team
• Do all of the normal things one would expect of a head of product in a growing enterprise software company (working with customers and partners, supporting marketing and sales activities, coordinating closely with engineering leadership, etc.)

• You have 10+ years of product management experience
• You have managed teams of at least 10+ people, and know how to identify, attract, and retain talent
• You have worked at a software company overseeing complex B2B/enterprise software that requires implementation projects to integrate into the customer environment
• You have worked with remote engineering teams
• You have a strong technical background and understand basic software architecture and systems design
• You have a BA/BS degree, preferably in a technical field
• All of the normal things you’d expect from a VP Product Management (strong communication skills, project management, understanding the user experience process, etc.)
• We prefer candidates who either live in the Bay Area or can travel there on a semi-regular basis (e.g. a few days/month)
• Some experience in relevant domains is a definite plus (insurance, digital platforms, and/or native apps, etc.)
