Job Description

Summary

The Program Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and strategic support to the Account Managers to service their internal and external customers.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Pull reports from Customer Portal (SAP) and the internal ERP system.
  • Create customer BOM for every new item; requires pulling data in preparation and comparing multiple reports to create accurate BOM.
  • Process all new Customer PO’s; reviewing for accuracy.
  • Create and update internal customer orders.
  • Utilize SAP to translate assembly instructions from customer into a Fill amp; Assembly document.
  • Enter costing in SAP on a by program basis.
  • EDI Maintenance.
  • Create all customer parts in the internal ERP system.
  • Request new part numbers to initiate Bill of Materials; review customer provided BOM’s for accuracy and update/modify BOM’s as requested.
  • Generate and distribute program deviations for component changes.
  • Assist with Samp;OP creation as required.
  • Respond to and resolve issues in a cooperative and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure customer issues/challenges have been addressed.
  • Participation in continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • College Degree Preferred, Minimum Requirement of High School Diploma.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally, including with multiple plant locations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with deadlines.
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.

Preferred Skills

  • Mathematical Skills Basic skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Computer Skills Proficient in computer software to include databases, spreadsheets, word processing and MRP/ERP systems.
