Team Overview:

Payability is looking for a Marketing Operations Associate to join the Marketing team. The Marketing team at Payability is primarily responsible for driving demand and consistent qualified lead flow to our solutions. Payability is the only FinTech company geared specifically towards businesses that sell on growing eCommerce platforms. We continuously create innovative, new products that fit our customers’ needs and aid in business growth. This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will work independently within a small team to meet and exceed goals.


Position Overview:

The Marketing Operations Associate must be a self-starter who has a passion for technology, data and analytics. The Marketing Operations Associate will be responsible for optimizing the tools, systems and technologies for the marketing and business development teams to most quickly and effectively scale their campaigns. Projects may include the implementation of new software systems, management of marketing and business development lists, working with the product team to build new features for the marketing team, building analytics dashboards to perform analysis, and optimizing processes for maximum efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, analytics tools, etc) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads
  • Be the Marketing team liaison with the Product and Engineering teams to prioritize and coordinate projects to completion
  • Manage the automation of data tracking for marketing sourced attribution to support Marketing’s reporting (including data extraction, analysis, and recommendations)
  • Proactively explore data to find trends, discover KPIs, and apply proper hypothesis testing
  • Manage and tie together data sources to support sales and marketing strategies
  • Perform routine reconciliations between Marketing systems and CRM to ensure data alignment
  • Uncover inaccuracies or inefficiencies with data or processes and then develop and implement solutions that scale
  • Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests for the Marketing Team and identify opportunities for improved reporting
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in an analytical/operational capacity
  • Tech savvy and proficient with Excel and Google Sheets
  • Prior experience with sales and marketing automation tools such as Pipedrive, Iterable, and Sendgrid
  • Prior experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Heap, Fullstory, Lookr, Google Data Studio
  • Organized and able to work on both long-term projects and requests requiring a quick turnaround
  • Capable of turning large sets of data into actionable insights
  • Curious, insightful, and are a detail-oriented operator who can see the big picture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple groups with a positive and open attitude.
  • Thrives in uncertain, rapidly changing environments.
