Job Description
We are an established Swiss Dermatology company with offices in San Diego who are looking for a (Human Resources) HR Specialist to join our team and lead our HR function by implementing various human resources programs.
The company has a range of innovative Medical Device products on the market and due to expansion are looking to add an HR professional to the team.
The goal is to ensure the companies HR department’s operations run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the companies US affiliate.
Requirements
- Administer compensation and benefit plans
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Conduct employee on boarding
- Conduct potential employee background checks
- Manage payroll systems
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Human Resources role
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field
