Air is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to oversee the stability of our product. You will define and manage our QA processes, both manual and automated. You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to understand what's being shipped and ensure the stability of each release. You'll own our on-call process, liaising between customer success, engineering, and product. You will report directly to Air's Chief Technology Officer, helping grow the QA team at Air over time.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain test plans for Air's web and mobile applications
- Conduct manual testing on new and existing features in our product
- Contribute to our integration tests (in collaboration with Engineering) to support daily automated regression testing and reduce manual QA over time
- Manage our on-call program by reproducing, documenting, prioritizing, and triaging each bug
- Identify gaps in our testing approach and drive solutions to fill those gaps
- Define and track metrics to monitor our product's stability and performance
Requirements
- 4+ years of QA experience on a live product with real-world users
- Strong knowledge of best practices for testing, automation, and dev-ops
- Experience with web automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, Quality Center, or similar
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A positive attitude, a sense of humor, and a desire to build great products for our customers
