CMT is seeking outstanding Pamp;C actuaries to join us in revolutionizing the pricing of auto insurance. As a member of our Data Science group, you will help accomplish our mission by designing and building solutions that solve our customer’s problems. CMT determines driving behavior by analyzing large, distributed collections of driving data. As one of our actuaries, you will develop predictive actuarial scoring models to be utilized by our insurance clients. You will work with insurance regulators to ensure that our latest models meet the highest regulatory standards. You will work alongside our data scientists and actuaries. If you love the idea of turning big, raw driving data into algorithms and actionable insights that make drivers drive better, this is an ideal position for you.

Requirements

  • Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society
  • BA/BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years combined of auto insurance pricing and US rate filing experience
  • Experience constructing and understanding GLMs and other predictive models
  • Robust statistical skills
  • Programming skills: R, Python, SQL
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


Preferred skills:

  • FCAS and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with DOI filing
  • Experience with ML
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud environment
