The Account Manager will be responsible for servicing a book of Commercial Lines accounts.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Meeting with producer for account review
- Handle the marketing of assigned renewal book
- Gather and prepare submissions to the various carriers
- Communicate with the insured on any updates or information necessary
- Review and recommend optional coverage for account rounding and cross selling opportunities
- Online rating for various carriers
- Obtain necessary underwriting data, applications, supplemental forms and loss runs, as required
- Communicate with carrier/broker underwriters to discuss accounts and/or follow-up on submission status
- Review quotations and compare coverage
- Prepare proposal for presentation to the Insured by the producer or AM
- Bind, invoice, prepare finance contract, collection of premium and signed documents
- Other duties as assigned by producer or management
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years prior insurance experience
- General Lines Property amp; Casualty Agent 220 license
- College degree preferred
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications
- Knowledge of AMS agency management systems and ImageRight a plus
