We are seeking a highly strategic, driven, and analytical MBA Intern to join our US Management team. This high-visibility role will take on multiple projects related, but not limited, to operational insights, strategic initiatives, objective analysis, and performance management across Blueground. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills while working cross-functionally between teams, and technical skills to back up their recommendations.
What you will mostly focus on:
- Drive highly visible projects for Blueground. Past projects include developing the strategy to enter new markets, playing an active role in launching new initiatives, analyzing and optimizing the performance of current offerings, and developing a deep understanding of what drives usage and engagement across our offerings, and using those insights to influence business decisions.
- For each effort, work with the team to analyze opportunities, synthesize findings, develop go-forward plans, and act as part of the ongoing team to translate recommendations into results.
- Work alongside a world-class management team to drive forward the highest priority initiatives.
- Serve as "connective tissue": Work cross-functionally to surface key insights and learnings that can help elevate the overall organization.
What we are looking for:
- Currently pursuing an MBA degree from a top tier university (highly preferred). We are looking for folks who have succeeded academically and professionally at the highest levels.
- Previous experience at a strategy consulting firm, investment bank, and/or experience at a fast-paced start-up.
- High competency in Excel and modeling, experience with SQL or other relational databases is a plus.
