Job Description

SciTec, Inc. is a dynamic small business with the mission to deliver Advanced Sensor Data Exploitation technologies and Science Instrumentation Capabilities in support of National Security and Defense. SciTec has immediate opportunities for talented algorithm amp; software developers to support programs focusing on next generation sensor command and control software for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Boulder, CO. Our ideal candidate will work well in multiple software languages as part of a rapid pace, collaborative, small-team environment consisting of Scientists, Engineers, and Developers. Candidates must be able to perform analysis of existing capabilities to inform their work to prototype and develop advanced algorithms leading to eventual integration in C++ on Linux operating systems as part of government frameworks.

Requirements

The following minimum qualifications are required for the position:

  • A Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
  • At least three years ongoing academic or professional experience and fluency in the following languages: C++, Python
  • At least three years ongoing academic or professional experience using Linux operating systems
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • Experience with the analysis of datasets, extraction of patterns, and creation of algorithms to exploit those patterns

Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:

  • A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher
  • Experience with the exploitation and analysis of OPIR, E/O, SAR, Spectral, RF, or other remotely sensed data
  • An advanced degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
  • At least one year professional experience with software analysis, prototyping, development, and integration within government frameworks
  • Professional experience with Agile teams
