Job Description

We've created a new Production Associate Lead job in our Renton, WA Facility.

The Production Associate Lead is responsible for coordinating and assigning the work flow in a particular Production Area or Department and for performing a variety of tasks such as kitting, collation, swatching, and/or assembly of designated components into finished goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and assign the work flow of a Production Area or Department.
  • Sets-up assembly line for efficient and quality productions; which could include machines, tools, materials and/or hand work.
  • Ensures that team members have adequate materials and tools to successfully and safely perform their job.
  • Coordinates daily activities and communicates needs with appropriate supervisor, manager and/or client services.
  • Responsible for completion of quality product per specification and quality standards.
  • Helps develop SOP’s for job related functions, processes, and/or recommend method efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal, written and listening skills; ability to read, understand and follow SOP's, supervisor's instructions, and safety, security and quality procedures.
  • Ability to help and support others in their work.
  • Identifies problems and notifies manager in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates own work with others and works collaboratively to meet needs of department.
  • Use self-management skills to plan, organize and prioritize work activities to use time efficiently.
  • Interpersonal skills to get along with employees, respond positively to instructions and procedures.


The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit for extended periods of time, walk, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; stoop, and bend.

Specific vision abilities required by this job are close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

The working environment is an operations environment, where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles and the noise level is moderate.
