Utilization Review Coordinator

Job Description
The Coordinator of Utilization Review is responsible for overseeing the Utilization Review Program for Inpatient and Outpatient services for Plum Creek Recovery Ranch, a 46 bed Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility for adults. Located on a 200 acre ranch just south of the Austin airport.This includes consulting with all services to ensure the provision of an effective treatment plan for all patients, oversees the response to requests for services and interfaces with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and other payors.
Requirements
Minimum Education Degree in nursing, social work, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Work Experience A minimum of three years direct clinical experience in substance use disorders or mental health treatment setting, including one year of managing a related function preferred. Experience in patient assessment, ASAM, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
Required Licenses No Required License. LVN, RN, LMSW or applicable license preferred.
