Assistant Project Manager

Essential Responsibilities

• Managerial and admin aspects of the project
• Estimating, scheduling, QC, progress reports/billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and preparation of proposals.
• Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
• Lead bi-weekly job site meetings
• Actively participate in all meetings from start to finish with owners, clients, and subcontractors to ensure the project runs in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Ability to make educated and sound decisions in a hast
• Organize and manage multiple activities at one time
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or related field; with a minimum of 3.2 GPA
• 3-8 years of design/build experience
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
