A Marketing and Communications Intern will work within the Marketing Group to assist our content creation, digital marketing, and sales support initiatives. Interns are full members of our team, joining us each morning on our stand up calls, and collaborating with team members to get day-today work done, as well as long-term projects. As such, interns are expected to have some level of familiarity with social media platforms, G-Suite, WordPress, and other software we employ so they can begin working autonomously almost immediately, posting on social media, writing blogs, doing research, and working on slide decks.
Responsibilities
- Working with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to write/produce compelling content blogs, videos, imagery and copy for social media, press releases
- Executing campaigns across multiple marketing channels, including email and social
- Using our website as a digital marketing platform
- Facilitating communication internally, throughout the company
- Conducting market research to improve our efforts
- Sharing unique knowledge with the team, whether it be new technologies or platforms, insights into customers, or new methods of engagement
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have a predilection for taking projects and running with them
- Graphic design and video production skills are a huge plus
- Creativity in all forms is appreciated, applauded, and applied wherever possible
- Ability to work from home or work in our Kendal Square office
- Ideal candidate is in junior of senior year towards a bachelors degree
