Oura Corporate Program Management Office is the glue amonest Business Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Support and Operations to ensure consistent delivery of key cross functional corporate initiatives at scale. We are looking for a high caliber and self-driven passionate product operations and program management expert to lead cradle to grave product life cycle management, voice of the customer, process excellence and drive corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker who sees the big picture yet switches to a pragmatic mode for step-by-step execution to ensure success. As we are a fast-growing start-up, we are looking for a take charge-person who'll pull up the sleeves and execute. Requirements
Your Role:
The Sr. Director, Program Management Office (PMO) leads program planning and execution, from concept to delivery. The successful incumbent will work in a matrixed environment across Business, Engineering and Operations teams. To be successful in this role, you will have outstanding people leadership skills to lead, motivate, and guide program managers and the ability to network, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization.
Your Impact:
- Define program in concert with Business Operations Teams
- Review and action new business requests and scope changes agreed to by the senior leadership team
- Lead cross-functional and technical delivery of corporate product development and process excellence initiatives from early concepts to launch
- Build and lead a team of program managers to ensure on-time delivery of large scale programs from concept to delivery
- Develop best practice for program planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, change management and variance recovery
- Proactively identify, prioritize, and drive resolution to program issues
- Deliver overall messaging of status and issues to key internal and external stakeholders
Your Profile:
- Degree(s) in a technical or business management related field with equivalent practical experience
- One of the following industry experiences: Wearable, Consumer Electronic, Medical Device
- 10+ years' experience in Product Operations Management, Technical Program Management and/or Strategy Operations at relevant technology companies
- Prior Pamp;L accountability
- Experience with hardware, software, system level integration
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses
- Demonstrated proficiency in commercializing NPI, building corporate-wide program plans from ground up, margin improvement and cost reductions
- Solid experience planning for and managing several large-scale, complex technical projects and coordinating cross functional project members to deliver quality results on time
- Passion and empathy for the customer; relentless focus on executing on the most impactful positive change for our users
- Familiarity with ERP and system integration
- Able to work under global operation time zones
- Ability to manage time and priorities effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous startup environment
