Requirements
Position Summary:
KSQ Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Principal Scientist/Principal Scientist with an interest in discovering and advancing adoptive cell therapies for the treatment of cancer to join our team. Our ideal candidate thrives in a research environment that demands teamwork, scientific rigor and technical excellence. Applicants with experience in the discovery and development of gene-modified adoptive T cell therapies and experience managing in a biopharma setting are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities:
- The individual will have a leadership role in contributing to the progression of gene-edited cell therapy programs emerging from KSQ’s proprietary CRISPRomicsTM platform across multiple cell types within KSQ
- Provide technical and scientific leadership including hands-on execution of experiments and training of junior colleagues
- Direct management of scientists and engagement with team members across functions
- Represent KSQ in external settings
Requirements
- PhD in immunology or related discipline with postdoctoral fellowship
- 2+ years of experience in a biopharmaceutical setting
- Expertise in human T cell biology
- A track-record of contributing to the discovery of gene-edited cell therapy products is desired but not required
- Experience contributing to IND-enabling pharmacology activities and regulatory filings is desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for participating across functional groups
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively as part of a fast-paced research team
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, attention to detail, and team player mentality
