SPN Solutions is seeking a Broadcasting System Trainer/Tech Writer to support our client in a remote capacity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in on-going technical discussions as requested by the team leads to resolve issues and to facilitate understanding of the technical requirements. These discussions may be held in person or most times via teleconference.
- Document meeting minutes and provide copies of those records to team lead.
- Provide training, testing, and exercise services of the broadcasting systems to stakeholders on all components to include activities supporting customer’s equipment and operations at private sector owned and operated broadcast stations
- Provide technical writing services to include diagramming, planning, and training documents
- Attend all-hazard module training provided
- Develop and conduct training on the technical maintenance and operations of the broadcast system as applicable for all scenarios including the continuation of on-air broadcast programming.
- Support the development of concepts of operations (CONOPS) to improve coordination of emergency communications between private sector broadcasters, Federal, State, and local emergency management, and response entities in the operation of the station sites
- Develop tabletop and on-site exercises to better inform seamless and continuous broadcast operations in the event of a catastrophic event/emergency.
- Develop and conduct training on the technical operations of the broadcast system and the continuation of on-air broadcast programming.
- Train and instruct radio station, first responders and other personnel, as selected by the customer, on sustainment services, and other matters.
- Develop tabletop and on-site exercises to better inform seamless and continuous broadcast operations in the event of a catastrophic event/emergency.

Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- 4+ years of training/technical writing experience and strong communication skills
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent 5+ year work experience in related field
- Some travel mainly CONUS will be required to support site work
- Experience in preparation for training services
- Must have good communications skills and have experience building partnerships with teammates, senior government officials, and vendors
- Skill in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with customers and program office members in a multi-vendor environment
- Experience in training of broadcasting system
- Experience in technical writing specifically training manuals, SOPs, and scripts
Place of Performance:
- Remote, contractor facility/related site locations throughout the United States and its Territories. Task Lead may request weekly progress meetings at the Government's facility located in Washington, DC, Indian Head, MD or by conference call.
EXPERIENCE MUST INCLUDE:
- Experience with the SharePoint Add-in model and modern SharePoint Online development techniques.
- Converting farm level solutions to the SharePoint Add-in mode
- Adapting or porting sandbox solutions the O356 environment
- Firm understanding of the Power Platform for O365
- Porting local SharePoint business solutions to SharePoint Online Leveraging mashups, ECM, and web frontend technologies to produce similar Composite, no-code capabilities.
- Three (3) years DevOps experience
- Three (3) years SharePoint developer experience
Certifications (REQUIRED)
1. Microsoft 365 Certified Developer Associate
2. Microsoft 365 Certified Power Platform Developer Associate
3. Microsoft 365 Certified Power Platform Solutions Architect Expert
4. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
