- Identifies, analyzes, prioritizes, resolves, and documents technical operational issues identified in the software applications and recommends changes based on issue found or modifications requested by business
- Engage with end users and provide user acceptance testing support in a highly professional and helpful manner
- Design, develop, test, implement and document SAP components and implement new system functionality and maintain existing code
- Meet with and collaborate with various business units/subunits such as functional team to provide solutions and assist in the architecture, design, and development to meet business and end-user needs
- Create test cases and ensure performance tuning is done as necessary
- Provide knowledge transfer to technical and non-technical staff as needed
- Provide status reporting of assignments
- Perform code reviews
- Review and analyze functional specifications, blueprint documents, and other information to determine and recommend technical approach and solution and to provide estimated effort to implement new software solutions
- Update and Develop technical specifications as needed
- Resolve software and batch processing aborts and abnormal ends
- Generate OSS notes requesting assistance from SAP headquarters
- Research SAP documentation for fixes to reported problems
- Map the FDOR business processes to appropriate technology solutions
- Follow all Department, ISP, and team defined standards and procedures
- Complete all required policy, training, and acknowledgement courses
- Perform other related duties, as required
Consultant Responsibilities
- Once under contract with the Department, Contractor shall ensure that the consultant performs as follows:
- The consultant shall maintain a daily log of activities worked using the Department’s project management tool. Activities must correlate to specific contract job duties.
- The consultant shall respond to inquiries and requests from the Department within 24 hours or by the next business day.
- The consultant shall provide assigned work effort results to the Project Administrator or as directed.
- The consultant shall complete a monthly time sheet utilizing the Department’s project management tool and provide supporting documentation
- The consultant shall communicate with the Program Project Administrator and/or Program Contract Manager in writing about any concerns or information of relative significance.
- The consultant shall complete all assignments as directed, within specified timeframes and/or dates in a satisfactory manner as determined by the Program Project Administrator and/or other designated ISP Program Staff.
- Upon request, the consultant shall complete training as assigned by the department within a specified timeframe.
Requirements
Five or more years of experience developing in SAP ABAP programming language
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in general and SAP Enterprise Services Architecture in particular
Experience in SAP-CRM
Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Experience working with business on requirements clarification and design
Ability to map business processes to technology particularly SAP technology
Knowledge of the SAP Business Process Platform
Knowledge of the SAP IT Practices I IT Scenarios and how to map those to the Department’s business processes
Preferred Experience:
Experience in CRM
Experience with the Florida Department of Revenue’s CAMS project
Experience with SAP Interfaces
Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and how ITIL maps to SAP solutions
General knowledge of the SAP solutions for Knowledge Management and Collaboration (KM, Content Server etc.)
Knowledge of the Adapter Framework (AFW), Runtime Workbench (RWB), and the Business Process Management Engine (BPE)
General knowledge of the SAP Master Data Management solution
