Job Description

As a Manager, Data Partnerships, you will lead data partnership development, implementation, and ongoing growth. By engaging new data partners and cultivating or expanding relationships, this role plays a key role in shaping the strategy of our business. You possess exceptional relationship-building skills and will understand the strategic, operationa, technical, legal, and financial nuances with partners in order to best represent our clients, products, and ensure mutual business objectives are achieved. You have a bias for action to find the best publisher-direct and/or other data partnerships to fuel TrueData’s long-term products amp; services.

What you’ll do:

  • Establish, manage and grow productive relationships with new and existing partners
  • Understand partner specific needs, goals, perspectives, and capabilities in-depth
  • Develop plans and metrics to achieve partner’s business goals
  • Onboard new partners, activate data ingestion, ensure data delivery goals and quality
  • Run data evaluations, analysis, and provide recommendations
  • Drive an efficient relationship structure for partnerships in conjunction with new partners plus Legal, Product, Finance, and other team members
  • Serve as key operational partner to partner teams and internally within TrueData
  • Negotiate pricing and usage terms with partners with a view to ensuring TrueData stays on or under budget
  • Anticipate critical business issues and identify ways new data sources and uses can help address those needs
  • Work with product teams to understand how current data is used and identify ways to enhance current products with new data
  • Proactively identify and source additional data types amp; attributes (e.g., email address, phone number, credit card data, music habits, etc.)
  • Stay informed about relevant industry news including competitive alliances and implications

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrable experience crafting and building differentiated relationships with strategic partners
  • Demonstrable business development experience and can connect opportunity to product/revenues
  • Must be comfortable with complexity and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrated use of critical thinking skills
  • You possess exceptional relationship-building skills and will understand the strategic and operational direction
  • Self-motivated problem solver comfortable wearing multiple and diverse hats
  • Experience in sales and publisher development preferred
  • Experience in data/digital media, preferably ad tech
  • Intellectually curious and forward thinking
