The Bennie Product Team's mission is to provide people and companies with a better benefits experience. We want to simplify the way people discover, access, and utilize their benefits which is why we built the Bennie app for our members.
The Junior Data Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient, and effective data operations that support an amazing user experience for the external and internal stakeholders who use the Bennie platform. This individual should have ample knowledge of excel and transforming spreadsheets into various formats based on our business needs. The position will start out as a contract role with the potential to become permanent.
The ideal candidate is someone excited to join a startup and use their data management knowledge to help it grow as efficiently as possible. Attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to focus in a fast-paced environment are necessary for success in this role. This role is remote only, so go ahead and work from anywhere!
Responsibilities include:
- Manipulating, standardizing, and reconciling large spreadsheets of user data provided from various external sources (carriers, partners, and clients)
- Converting client benefit plan information and plan documents into database-ready formats in excel
- Learning how to use and becoming comfortable with Postman
- Continually identify process, template, and tool improvements and providing this feedback to the Product team
- Working with clients to help implement them onto Bennie and to help them understand data management best practices
- Working with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of your work
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS excel
Nice to have:
- Baseline knowledge of the employee benefits industry, including an understanding of how employee benefits data is managed by employers and carriers
- Familiarity with Postman
