Amount is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Infrastructure team. The team is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure for all of the Amount client deployments (primarily on AWS) and uses technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins. We have many client deployments and are constantly adding more so keeping them all up-to-date with the latest version of the Amount platform is a major CI/CD challenge. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, deep knowledge in the infrastructure space (we use AWS), and can effectively direct a team of engineers.

With your help, we will continue to reinvent banking by helping our Amount platform partners innovate and digitize their banking products and services!What you’ll work on:- Lead the Cloud Infrastructure team, manage the day-to-day execution and provide strategic direction
- Collaborate with leaders across the organization to develop and execute the Cloud Infrastructure roadmap
- Develop the future technical leaders of Amount through leading-by-example as well as direct mentorship
- Get hands on with technologies and platforms including Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, Cloudflare, and many others
- Be a part of a strong culture of ownership, pragmatism, and testing
Who you are:- 5+ years of relevant engineering work experience
- 2+ hands-on technical management experience
- You have experience managing infrastructure at scale
- You’re a pragmatic technologist who will provide a strong voice for technological direction of systems at Amount
- You’re entrepreneurial, self-driven, and takes pride in improving our customers’ experiences
- You have strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and coding/testing best practices. Past application development experience is a big plus
- You thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts and enjoys working with a diverse group of people with different expertise
- You like communicating directly with business units from all over the company to ensure you understand and can best handle the pain points and the wide range of stakeholders needs
