Fray Fitness grew out of a passion for fitness and has developed into a knowledgeable, helpful family of fitness professionals. Responsibilities
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Screen incoming resumes and application forms
- Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard
- Researching, modifying and distributing competitive benefit programs (insurance, wellness, etc.)
- Evaluating and negotiating with service providers
- Manage employee benefit enrollments and determine eligibility
- Handle all benefit compensation and reimbursement procedures
- Coordinate leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker’s compensation etc.)
- Keep updated employee records with all relevant information (marital status, years of service, hours worked, etc.)
- Inform employees of their benefit options and plans and monitor use
Requirements
- Proven experience in both Finance and Human Resources with a strong operational background
- Solid understanding of different benefit plans (retirement, health, dental insurance, etc.) and relevant regulations
- 5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of financial reporting
- Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities
- Attention to detail
- Reliable with adherence to confidentiality dictations
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
