The IT Administrator works on the front line, supporting the corporate technology infrastructure that allows ErisX to run its business. This role primarily focuses on the traditional aspects of IT administration including hardware and software support, asset inventory and management, and basic network management. In addition to the technical demands, you represent IT to the rest of the organization as part of the first response to IT requests. Attention to detail, a customer-focused attitude, and willingness to learn are the requirements for success.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide user hardware and OS support
  • Build and maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Perform technology installs and upgrades (software, A/V, etc.)
  • Provide operational support for technology tools
  • Provision and manage access to security systems

Required Experience

  • Experience supporting teams with diverse technology backgrounds
  • Windows, Linux, and MacOS workstation administration
  • Hands-on procurement amp; inventory management
  • Hands-on experience with hardware support (workstations, A/V equipment, etc.)
  • Hands-on Ubuntu (or other Linux distro) support at a command line level
  • Hands-on networking (route/switch/AP) and hardware setup experience

Additional Consideration

  • Has worked in a highly regulated environment with data retention requirements
  • Prior experience creating/editing/reviewing written documentation
  • Familiar with Atlassian Product Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Prior security technology (A/V, logging, monitoring, etc.) experience
  • Familiar with ticketing systems and ticket management
