As a Video Producer amp; Editor with BCW's Creative team, you will be responsible for the creation of agency video content, including trailers, campaign films, digital and social spots, special content and the occasional in-house creative reel. You will also be responsible for ownership of our edit suite, our gear, and our content and post-production capabilities.
Requirements
The Role:
We are looking for a Producer/Shooter/Editor to join our Creative team in NYC. This person will possess a broad range of video production and camera related skills. Your duties will be 80% editor, 20% shooter/producer, with general ebbs and flows as our workflow dictates. To thrive in our fast-paced environment, you should be able to manage on-going assignments amongst a normal amount of last-minute requests and quick turnarounds.
- Produce, shoot and edit video content for online and social media platforms
- Act as a creative voice in the development and creation of BCW Creative video assets
- Planning and execution of video shoots, proper care and maintenance of video equipment, video editing and finishing
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience that contributes to your success:
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Davinci Resolve, plus experience shooting with modern digital video production equipment (DSLR + lenses, audio (H4N) and associated lighting and rigging equipment)
- Ability to work closely with team members to streamline video assets and execute campaign needs in both scrappy and large production environments
- Understanding of a video work flow, file types and codecs
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and file-sharing services (i.e., DropBox and FTP servers)
- Grasp of basic still photography processing including shooting, editing and retouching and some understanding motion graphics are advantageous
- A basic understanding and experience with finishing, color grading and sound mixing
- Desire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture initiatives, training opportunities and employee resource groups
