The Role:
We are looking for a full time paid summer intern (40 hours/week) to join our Inclusion amp; Diversity team working virtually. This person will be supporting the I.D.E.A team at an administrative and strategic level for internal cultural programming.
You will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of tasks and duties related to internal and external inclusion amp; diversity initiatives by performing a broad spectrum of administrative duties to support the team.

IDEA Approach

- Inclusion: Focus on inclusive actions and behaviors, consciously managing bias and bias interrupting, integrated in the client work

- Equity: Consider and provide what different groups need by ensuring policies and practices provide an equal opportunity regardless of diversity dimension

Requirements
Experience that contributes to your success:
- Rising college senior, recent undergraduate or current graduate student, with basic familiarity with fundamental concepts with the inclusion amp; diversity space.
- Passion for understanding strategic implementation of organizational programming.
- Strong project management amp; follow up skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent proofreading and organization skills
- Creative and innovative with strong attention to detail
- Works independently in a virtual environment, is proactive and a self-starter
