The Role:

BCW’s Technology team is seeking to hire an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive in San Francisco. This person’s primary role will be managing the day-to-day of key client accounts, including working in partnership with senior and junior team members to support strategy, planning and execution of campaigns, media messaging and content development and monitoring. We are looking for the early adopters, and the trend interpreters with a keen interest in enterprise and consumer technology.

This is an opportunity to support established and emerging Enterprise Technology Brands spanning Cybersecurity, IoT, 5G and Cloud creating dashboards around influencer, social engagement and thought leadership communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact and manage workstreams and teams on program implementation
  • Work with account leaders to set strategic direction for accounts, facilitating planning, strategy development, drafting of communications plans and execution
  • Drive story idea development for wide range of clients including the ability to track industry trends and identify opportunities to insert our clients into current news cycles
  • Develop content including plans, competitive analysis’, executive and corporate thought leadership documents, event recommendations, media strategy and more
  • Contribute to program development for clients and new business proposals
  • Media and Social community monitoring
  • Creation and management of media and social dashboards

Qualifications:

  • 2 or 3 years of experience working in public relations or a communications discipline
  • Understanding and interest in the technology industry Business to Business and Business to Consumer
  • Ability to think proactively on behalf of clients and anticipate their needs
  • Media relations experience both traditional and digital ideally with Tech trade, top-tier technology and business media
  • Experience supporting corporate reputation needs, including awards/rankings, speaking opportunities, executive visibility and thought leadership
  • Ability to be nimble, organized and professional in pressure driven situations
  • Ability to work both within a geographically diverse team and independently when necessary
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written and excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with a track record of quickly and consistently incorporating constructive feedback and guidance
  • Skilled at thinking creatively and bringing new ideas to clients and prospects
  • Ability to develop trust and engagement with clients, supervisors, team members and external influencers
  • Desire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture initiatives, training opportunities and employee resource groups
