Principal Functions
The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and administration of all aspects of the warehouse program for SACHR. A successful Warehouse Logistics Coordinator should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. You should also be able to promptly resolve distribution issues and have strong negotiation. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Manage orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs.
• Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers, program managers and customers to achieve optimal supply chain and customer experience.
• Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders.
• Prepare accurate reports for leadership.
• Uphold SACHR’s policy and procedures including the policies and procedures set forth by the NYS Department of Health and the NYC Department of Health amp; Mental Hygiene regarding behavioral health interventions including HIPAA requirements.
• Participate in regular training and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma/GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business Analytics (preferred).
• 5+ years’ experience in customer service or logistics management.
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP).
• Previous customer service experience.
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Keen on working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to listen and respond non-judgmentally with empathy.
• Bi-lingual preferred (English-Spanish a plus).
• HIV/AIDS/HCV/PrEP/PEP/IDU understanding (preferred).
• Flexible schedule required.
