Job Summary
The Director DevOps is a key member of the Information Technology team and will be responsible for driving technology innovation initiatives and provide technical consulting support.
You will provide overall direction, guidance and definition of implementing and effectively supporting Bamp;W and Subsidiaries Business Strategies in the context of internal projects. This person will interface across several business areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects (buy vs build). Ideal candidate is expected to do hands on development when needed. The Director Solution Architecture will act as a technology consultant and work with the technical teams and help with the execution of the solution.

Responsibilities
- Researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies
- Planning and guiding large and/or complex projects
- Conceive solutions, build consensus, and sell/execute solutions.
- Prioritization of work to assure overall business objectives
- Actively monitors new and emerging technologies, trends, practices and solutions and assess their applicability to business initiatives and strategies
- Collaborates with Product owners on translating business requirements and operational strategy into a long-term, executable solution plan and roadmap
- Work with IT Leadership to keep solutions in alignment with future IT roadmap.
- Able to contribute to hands on development and support, Proof of Concept and demos as needed. Recommending new tools, methodologies, technologies, data and platforms.
- Providing input on options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on other processes for buy vs. build decisions.
- Analyze the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements such as expanding capacity, predictability, reducing time amp; cost, and increasing effectiveness.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a small devops team.

Experience
- Five to ten years’ experience in a senior Architecture role in a mid-size to large enterprise, with a major focus on corporate applications
- Experience in Agile, Appian RPA/BPM, Java, API’s
- Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex solutions
- Experience with public cloud platforms and application development platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, CGP, etc.)
- Experience in Real Estate, Mortgage and Title’s domain knowledge, a big plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
