The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to tackle complex tasks and transform them into intuitive and easy-to-use designs while collaborating with Engineers and Product Managers throughout the design process.

• Partner with multiple stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and other designers in drafting and brainstorming initial concepts
• Defining interaction models, user flows, and wireframes
• Leading project-specific user research efforts and evaluating user feedback
• Evaluating existing products and recommending optimizations
• Working with analytics to make data driven recommendations
• Creating low and high-fidelity prototypes
• Enhance and determine appropriate use of design systems.
• Ensure the UX system supports measurable business requirements and goals
• Incorporate market analysis, customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into design
• Quickly and iteratively create interaction flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups throughout the design process
• Develop and maintain detailed information architecture and design specifications
• This is a two month 1099 Contract Role

Requirements

• Senior level or higher experience, with the ability to self govern and lead team efforts.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of cumulative industry experience in various UX Design disciplines
• 5+ years of mobile experience
• Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touchpoints on different platforms and devices. This includes mobile, web, and devices.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.
• Experience working with Product Management teams
• Ability to own and follow through with large projects
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking and core skills across a variety of categories and formats
• Fluency with common design software for the creation of wireframes, design mocks and prototypes i.e InVision, Figma, XD, Sketch
• Strong communicator, who can creatively and effectively communicate ideas as a story to others with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with OS frameworks, and new device categories a plus
• Experience with user research, interviews, or usability testing is a plus
• Experience with design of enterprise and lifestyle mobile apps, transportation domain a plus
