A day in the life

  • Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, talent mapping, events and sourcing campaigns
  • Help find top engineers at all levels and product managers who play a crucial role in building and shaping key features that millions of customers use every day
  • Provide hands-on, full-cycle recruiting support for critical, hard-to-fill technical positions
  • Experience recruiting teams using JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js, React, Vue.js, Node.js or similar to build modern, distributed microservices based applications
  • Act as an advocate for both clients and candidates throughout the hiring process, establish regular touchpoints and be diligent with follow-through
  • Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
  • Recommend and drive improvements that positively impact talent pipelines
  • Help develop and execute fully comprehensive recruiting plans, analyzing requirements, challenging the status quo, and influencing key stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers throughout the recruiting process to ensure we meet their hiring needs and goals
  • Leverage data to influence change management and drive improvements as needed
  • Make sound, data-driven decisions that propel the candidate experience
  • Consistently monitor and research market trends to use data and insights supporting hiring managers and senior leadership
  • Lead and collaborate cross-functionally on projects and initiatives related to improving recruiting, scaling our interviewing processes
  • Own the offer process from extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years of experience in engaging, selling and recruiting top technical talent
  • Experience working at a rapidly growing global tech start-up
  • Strong communication skills and business insight required to engage with candidates, hiring managers and senior leaders within the organization
  • Incredibly organized with a strong sense of urgency
