Premier Golf LLC is a golf travel company located in downtown Alpharetta, Georgia offering golf vacations and packages to a multitude of destinations both domestically and internationally. Since our inception in 1989 we have sent over 30,000 clients to the Ryder Cup and become a leader in international golf travel. With the recent acquisition by Your Golf Travel, a UK based company, we are looking to expand our products and events and most importantly our team.
The Role
The Product and Contracting Manager’s role is to ensure that we obtain the best possible value out of the USA account portfolio for Premier Golf LLC and Your Golf Travel, fulfilling our product strategy, and ensuring that it is delivered as efficiently as possible.
The role is an important position, working with the rest of the Premier Golf and Your Golf Travel teams to deliver on budget and in line with the long term growth of the business. The job holder will negotiate rates, promotions, terms of business, allocations and product income with new and existing Golf venues, Resorts amp; Hotels.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Execute the product and contracting plan for your particular region. This would include hotels, resorts, golf courses amp; transport provision.
- Be responsible for the contracting of those identified supply partners, or where necessary finding alternatives.
- Ensuring that inventory supply is managed in line with forecasted need.
- Working with the commercial team to develop additional revenue streams and opportunities.
- Maintain key supplier relations
- Represent the business externally, as the company face whilst attending trade fairs etc
- Maintain and enhance the business reputation within the industry in relation to delivery and best-in experience/knowledge.
- Be the point of contact for destination marketing companies, CVB’s and state tourism boards, in order to drive incremental revenues and in turn opportunities for them.
Requirements
- As a knowledgeable industry insider, you will need to have had strong demonstrable senior experience in a sales / commercial role within the travel, hospitality or sports industry.
- You must be a proven self-starter, dedicated and organised. You will also need to be comfortable working remotely, and ideally have had experience of this in some capacity.
- You will be required to travel to both trade fairs as well as destinations within North America for the purposes of doing your job, visit the company office in Atlanta, GA as well as potentially the UK head office.
- You will need to have a predominant commercial focus, as well as having an outgoing personable nature, whilst at the same time having the dedication and focus to administer your achievements.
- A full clean driving license.
- Ideally you will be based in the greater Atlanta area however this is not essential.
