Key Responsibilities amp; Accountabilities:
- Contribute to the pre-clinical development of gene-edited cell products for oncology indications.
- An ideal candidate should have an interest in cellular assay development and a desire to work in immunology and cancer biology.
- The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will interact with the discovery, platform, process development groups, as well as contract research organizations.
- The successful candidate should demonstrate strong work ethics and ability to work in a fast-paced and highly demanding work environment.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills amp; Capabilities:
- Conduct flow cytometric analysis of iPSCs and immune cells
- Develop and perform cellular and molecular assays to evaluate immune cell activation, cytotoxicity, and gene edit-induced functions in vitro
- Maintain and manipulate cultures of cancer cells cells, immune cells, and/or iPSCs
- Process and analyze diverse data sets
- Present data within the organization
- Share responsibility in maintaining lab equipment and reagent inventory.
- Maintain an electronic lab notebook and contribute to support documentation
Benefits
Education amp; Relevant Work Experience:
- BS/MS in cell biology, immunology or related field with 1+ years of laboratory experience
- Experience with basic cellular and molecular biology techniques including, ELISA/Luminex and RT- PCR/PCR is required
- Experience in polychromatic flow cytometry and analysis is preferred
- Experience in mammalian cell culture is preferred
- Independently motivated, detail oriented and excellent problem-solver
- Outstanding organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities
