Editas Medicine is seeking a highly motivated research associate with a strong focus in iPSC cell culture and molecular biology techniques to support the development of next generation immuno-oncology therapies. The successful candidate must be goal oriented, flexible, and work efficiently with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform iPSC cell culture, clone picking, single cell printing, and expanding clones
  • Experience with PCR based assays (ddPCR, RT-ddPCR)
  • Experience with transfections in primary cells (lipid based, nucleofection)
  • Experience with gene editing is preferred but not required
  • Experience with flow cytometry and fluorescent microscopy
  • Strong organizational skills, able to keep and maintain a meticulous lab notebook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analyze data and effectively communicate results to research scientists
  • Share responsibilities in maintaining lab equipment and reagent inventory

  • BS/MS in Biology, molecular biology, or related discipline. 2+ years of relevant research experience (industrial experience in a plus)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office, and Prism
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment
