Editas Medicine is seeking a highly motivated research associate with a strong focus in iPSC cell culture and molecular biology techniques to support the development of next generation immuno-oncology therapies. The successful candidate must be goal oriented, flexible, and work efficiently with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform iPSC cell culture, clone picking, single cell printing, and expanding clones
- Experience with PCR based assays (ddPCR, RT-ddPCR)
- Experience with transfections in primary cells (lipid based, nucleofection)
- Experience with gene editing is preferred but not required
- Experience with flow cytometry and fluorescent microscopy
- Strong organizational skills, able to keep and maintain a meticulous lab notebook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analyze data and effectively communicate results to research scientists
- Share responsibilities in maintaining lab equipment and reagent inventory

- BS/MS in Biology, molecular biology, or related discipline. 2+ years of relevant research experience (industrial experience in a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft office, and Prism
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment
