As a Senior Account Executive, you will independently manage complex accounts while working at a strategic level to develop and retain consultative, partnership relationships with customers and prospects.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain open and clear communication channels with clients, carriers and the internal Risk Strategies team for a block of business estimated at $1 Million
  • Develop twelve month business plan with strategic solutions to solve for client business and employee Benefit needs
  • Lead the yearly renewal process though a defined client calendar. Execute renewals in a timely manner including underwriting and cost projections
  • Market, evaluate and implement new group contracts for existing clients or new clients, effectively utilizing resources to match client needs
  • Responsible for all employer and employee communication materials, conduct employee meetings and coordinate benefit program roll out
  • Analyze financial and utilization data to draw conclusions beneficial to client
  • Provide day-to-day client assistance navigating all aspects of a highly functional benefit program
  • Inform and educate client on all aspects of regulatory, compliance and new market products

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with seven or more years’ previous experience, including seven years of life and health insurance brokerage experience
  • Intermediate-level computer skills in all MS Office suite products with Agency Management System proficiency is desirable
  • Life and health broker's license
  • Ability to pay attention to details and balance multiple tasks
  • Advanced technical knowledge to perform client assessments and provide coverage recommendations for complex employee benefits accounts
  • Ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions
  • Functional without direct accountability
  • Effectively communicates through written and verbal correspondence, attends meetings and makes presentations on a weekly basis consults with others on a monthly basis, occasionally leads meetings or makes presentations
