We are looking for a Rider Onboarding Associate for our Rider Operations Team in Chicago.
What you'll do:
- Be the gatekeeper for which Riders ultimately become employed with Gorillas
- Onsite assessments: schedule Riders amp; leading group interview processes daily
- Onsite trainings: train groups of dozens of newly-hired Riders weekly
- Onboarding administration: ensure a seamless hiring amp; onboarding experience end to end
Your responsibilities:
- Develop amp; administer onsite assessment procedures, including interviewing amp; testing dozens of prospective Rider candidates on a weekly basis
- Develop amp; administer onsite training procedures, including onboarding dozens of prospective Rider candidates on a weekly basis
- Ensure a smooth Rider hiring and onboarding process amp; that all Rider candidates are moved through the hiring and onboarding process in a timely manner
- Ensure a smooth handoff for each Rider to our Rider Engagement amp; Support teams
Riders are at the heart of everything we do. As one of the early members of Gorillas, you will have a crucial role in managing the Rider hiring amp; onboarding process and ensuring we have enough Riders to keep up with Gorillas’ high pace of growth.
Requirements
- Associate college degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in a recruiting, onboarding, or employee training role a plus
- An ability to work and engage with a large number of new hires in a rapidly changing environment
- A desire to work in a dynamic environment at one of the fastest growing startups in Europe - and a desire to set the bar high for our US entry
- Strong presentation amp; communication skills (written amp; verbal)
- High energy, ability to engage amp; motivate big groups
