The Role
BCW's Public Affairs amp; Crisis professionals serve as trusted advisors to our clients, helping them build reputations and influence in the world's power centers, as well as navigate intensive, short-term policy battles. Our global Public Affairs amp; Crisis network has the people, relationships, and expertise to help our clients achieve their public policy and business objectives. Our approach integrates the best of traditional PR and public education with state-of-the-art digital communications tools to deliver the right message, through the right messenger, to the right people, at the right time.
You will be engaged in supporting our client’s public affairs and policy goals through trade and national media relations, executive visibility, though leadership, panels and conferences. In this highly visible team role you will also take part in efforts to build the overall service offering and participate in business development. The ideal Communications candidate will have a solid overall understanding of the DC public affairs and policy space coupled with the ability to draft strategic materials for clients, manage projects and think both strategically and tactically.
