JOIN OUR TEAM

We're looking for an organized and highly motivated System Administrator II to join our team. Our computers team manages the internal network, applications, servers and workstations. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate must have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware and networks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Assist with supporting the Help Desk ticketing queue which may include some in-office presence

Administer and troubleshoot network related areas including but not limited to switches, routers, APs, VPN, outages, etc.

Administer and support enterprise cloud and self hosted applications (e.g. G-Suite, AWS, Jira, Confluence)

Administer and support on-premises infrastructure areas including servers, VMware, Veeam backup, storage arrays, UPS, etc.

  • Administer and support automated patch management solutions

Assist with management of lifecycle operations for both hardware and software

Assist with asset management and coordinating user device and software purchasing

Assist with user accounts and access controls

Ensure security compliance by coordinating actions with the Security group

Assist with documenting policies and procedures for both new and existing areas

Requirements

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You are an exceptionally resourceful individual with the ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly

You have at least 3 years of experience in IT systems administration

You are experienced with OS X, Linux, and Windows administration

You have strong knowledge of networking concepts including routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, NAT, and WiFi

You have experience with infrastructure platforms/areas such as VMWare, Active Directory, Group Policy, storage arrays, Veeam backup, etc.

You have experience with endpoint management suites (Ivanti and JAMF preferred) including application automation, centralized device configuration, and policy based controls

You have experience with cloud application platforms such as G-Suite, AWS, Jira, Confluence and Salesforce

You are focused on security, from the design and implementation of new systems, to maintaining and improving existing ones

You are capable writing scripts (e.g. Perl, Python, Powershell, Bash)

Plus: You are a detail-oriented problem solver, a quick learner with interest and ability to learn new technologies and possess excellent communication skills
