Requirements
What you will do:
As a software engineer on our production engineering team, you’ll focus on integrating our SaaS product with internal tools. Your work will help our Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams get insight from our product. Practically, this will mean aggregating customer usage data for use in our sales, marketing amp; billing systems. You will help instrument our online cart and marketing materials for insight into our customer engagement. You’ll also ensure that our product plays well with Intercom so our customers can see in-app notifications and support topics specific to them. You’ll be working with a close-knit team working at the heart of our business. This position reports to the engineering organization but will work closely with peers in our operations and marketing teams.

Your experience:
We’re looking for a software engineer that has the following characteristics:
- You have 2-5 years of experience working with Python
- Experience in cloud environments (eg. AWS, GCP, or Azure) bonus points for GCP experience.
- You have worked with serverless applications and understand the constraints and tradeoffs, any will do, but Cloud Functions are preferred.
- You have done integrations with 3rd party APIs (eg. Salesforce, Heap, Intercom, Zendesk, Chargebee, etc)
- Strong SQL experience
- Software source control system, such as Git
- Knowledge Software Development Lifecycle and software development best practices
- You possess strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have (but not required):
- AngularJS, MVC experience with React or Angular+ is a plus
- .NET core
- Docker/Containers, Kubernetes
- HTML/XHTML, CSS
- Javascript and jQuery
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
