Littera Education launched in the fall of 2020 with a simple idea: all students deserve high-quality tutoring support to help them achieve their academic potential. The mission of our funded and growing K12 education SaaS startup is to enable equitable, high-quality, and cost-effective academic support for school districts of all sizes. We support the delivery of individual and small-group sessions and leverage the data, curriculum, and technology that districts already use. By integrating with schools’ existing tech infrastructure and instructional tools we will enable school districts and other student-serving organizations to provide equitable access to high quality, flexible, and targeted student support. The Job

As the Tutor Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for many of the day-to-day operations as relates to managing Littera’s team of tutors. You have a variety of duties, both administrative, managerial, and clerical. Reporting to our Director of Client Services, you will work with districts to understand their tutor staffing needs and to ensure the Littera tutor team is staffed appropriately to fill those needs. You’ll also be a key resource to support tutors in their onboarding, training, and ongoing employment needs.

Requirements

You will be responsible for:

  • Advertisement and hiring of tutors to fulfill the requirements of clients
  • Providing onboarding support to new tutors including profile creation in the system
  • Ensuring tutors complete the required training and/or certifications
  • Monitoring the ratings of tutors and ensuring only highly rated tutors remain active in the team

What we’re looking for

The Client Services team is an incredibly important component of the business and plays an integral part in client adoption of the platform and their long-term success. As an early member of the Littera team, you’ll need to be able to manage a variety of tasks and be flexible in your approach as the needs of the company and clients dictate. You need to manage multiple projects, and it’s important you can manage the needs and deadlines of them all. The right person for this role is highly organized and detail-oriented and also displays a commitment to our mission of helping all students get the academic support they need.

Desired Qualifications

  • Careful attention to detail and ability to develop new processes to improve efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience as a tutor is a plus
  • Experience in educational technology is a plus
