Job Description

The Lead Coordinator is results-oriented with a positive attitude and self-starter, with excellent communication, problem solving and strong advocacy skills. The Lead Coordinator works well in a rapid paced environment, model behaviors that reflect APA’s core values and reports to the Communications Director.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

As part of APA’s core team, the Lead Coordinator ensures that inbound leads are taken care of from the moment of first contact until our contract is signed.

Qualified applicants must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing; interact with potential clients in a calm, professional, friendly, and patient manner; empathetic yet persuasive; possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a summary of the essential functions. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.

• Speak with potential clients via phone to gather initial claim and property loss information

• Answer questions by telephone; responds to inquiries from potential new and existing clients, and others. When necessary, refer calls to the appropriate person or department

• Serve as on-call to respond to initial inquiries from prospective clients

• Schedule inspections for Public Adjusters with clients to sign-up with the firm

• Work with the firm’s Claim Director to determine viability of potential claims

• Keep track of potential clients and scheduling follow up calls through company database system

• Update the firm’s database and document management system in a timely manner, and ensure accurate data is kept in the system

• Build strong rapport with potential clients, apply needs analysis, present APA’s core services, handle objections (or refer to public adjusters for objection handling), schedule inspections, and follow up with potential clients to gather all necessary information to evaluate their loss

• Set up claim on company database, sends Letters of Representation, and other duties as assigned

Requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

  4. Strong organizational skills
  5. Must be open to being on call after hours and weekends
  6. Experience in professional selling is preferred
  7. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  8. Ability to manage calendars and schedule appointments
  9. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  10. Goal oriented and comfortable working with metrics
  11. Fluent in Armenian is a plus
  12. Fluent in Spanish is a plus
