In this role, the selected individual will support many facets of the day-to-day HR/Admin operations including, recruiting, onboarding, trainings, and payroll/benefits/HRIS administration. Working closely with the HR team, they will help to coordinate company holiday/summer gatherings, weekly virtual and in person events by selecting venues, creating communication pieces, and managing guest lists. They will manage MERL's social accounts, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and FB. They will act as the point of contact for shipping (FedEx, mail, etc.) and support all aspects of the Lab's facility needs including, kitchen, mailroom, and general office areas and will be responsible for purchasing office/kitchen supplies. They will also support the CEO to complete MERL's annual report.
The selected candidate should have a minimum of two years related experience, including demonstrated proficiency with computers, calendar functionality, databases, and MS Office tools. The ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in an organized fashion is key. Must enjoy working in a team environment, sharing responsibilities when needed, to meet the needs of the Lab. A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred for this position.
