Job Description

Job Title: Regional Program Manager

Location: Regional CONUS

Position: contingent upon Contract Award

Position Description:

The Regional Program Manager (RPM) is responsible to the Program Manager for the efficient and effective execution of the Transition contract within a specified region. The Regional Program Manager serves as the immediate leader overseeing the Contract Installation Manager’s (CIM) within the region of responsibility. The RPM works directly for the Contract Program Manager (CPM) and with the Transition Headquarters Staff to ensure the proper execution of the transition contract. The RPM is the primary focus of the contract within each region and is responsible for the CIM performance. Although not an all-inclusive listing the PM’s duties include the following:

Assist CPM with directing, defining and coordinating program issues and find workable solutions. Assist and preparing/analyzing specialized reports and information. Provide guidance to the SFL TAP PM and CIM’s in regards to all aspects of the contract

Duties:

• Serve as a point of contact with the PM, CIM to manage all contract operations at the Regional level.

• Assist in managing the contractor program and project teams for optimal program effectiveness within the region

• Direct and manage CMI actions for day-to-day SFL-TAP functions to ensure all contract requirements are met

• Conduct command level briefings to government personnel and SFL-TAP stakeholders

• Implement and provide guidance to CMI and staff on implementation of SFL-TAP policies and processes.

• Regional Operations is primary duty

• Assist PM with developing and implementing analysis of transition policies and its impact to SFL TAP staff and client services within the region while also providing workable solutions for CMIs and staffs

• Assist CMIs on best practices to offering specialized courses tailored to the needs of the installation

• Assist CMIs by providing advice and guidance to meet individual installation needs •

Communicate with CIM sand installation leadership regularly to ensure smooth execution

• Assist CMI and installation leadership with analyzing business’ activities, expenses, establishing goals, and communicating the strategy throughout the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

• 2+ years in a management role

• Exceptional leadership skills, time management, facilitation and organizational skills.

• Working knowledge of the SFL-TAP program

• Working knowledge of government chain of command and transition policies. •

Applicants must successfully undergo a background investigation (National Agency Check) so U.S. Citizenship is required

• Ability to meet and correspond regularly with a Government counterpart.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional relevant experience

• Strong working knowledge of SFL-TAP and program requirements
