Job Description

At Juno Bio, we’re decoding the vaginal microbiome. This is the community of microbes implicated in over 30 conditions affecting billions for women worldwide - from recurrent infections through to infertility. Our game-changing at-home wellness tests provide women and people with vaginas with personalised vaginal microbiome insights while powering up research to raise the standard of care for all women.

Founded in 2018 by Hana and Leighton to close the gender health gap, featured in Techcrunch, Vogue and backed by giants like Illumina and Entrepreneur First, Juno Bio exists at the intersection of community-powered change, category-defining product innovation and pioneering biotech research. We are seeking a Social Media amp; Marketing Intern to support our Growth team. You’ll be the eyes and ears ‘on the ground’, being our customer’s first point of contact, gathering first-hand insights to drive our product development and curating our community and ecosystem, in part, by identifying and setting up partnerships to realise our business goals and company mission. You will report to our Growth Lead and be part of a dynamic, fast-paced and growing team with significant professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain a safe community space for Juno Bio users to move on to.
  • Support the Content Manager in developing, creating, and executing our Social Media strategy on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn,.
  • Create awareness of and develop our brand across main social media channels.
  • Help to develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages.
  • Experiment with new ideas to build our community and increase touchpoints with potential customers including setting up and participating in online and offline events related to our mission and products.
  • Maintain a presence, listen and participate in online communities related to female health across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Quora, Medium, and other social platforms, strengthening and expanding our online community.
  • Be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring all messages are responded to in a timely manner and all feedback is recorded appropriately.
  • Collate consumer chatter, feedback, reviews and research. Work with the wider team to use this information to identify audiences and drive the evolution of our products.
  • Identify and set up transformative partnerships, collaborations, press and PR opportunities that can amplify the Juno Bio message.
  • Work with the wider team to identify key dates for campaigns, content needs and distribution opportunities for our materials to propel our share of voice

Requirements

  • Student, final year or recently graduated
  • A digital native with a strong understanding and passion for Social Media ( Instagram , Facebook , Twitter, Tiktok,.)
  • Excellent communication skills amp; Strong writing skills
  • Detail-oriented, organised, with excellent proofing skills
  • Positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm for Juno Bio, community, and people
  • The ideal candidate will have brand experience in community management, ambassador outreach and/or social content either via previous work experience, placement year or possibly a side hustle
  • Excited by the opportunity to help us transform women’s health and build a brand that we are all proud of.
  • Comfortable working with a distributed team, desire for a role with a high level of personal agency and always get the job done.
  • Experience in customer experience, community building, management or Growth is a bonus
  • Familiarity with Zendesk or other customer messaging platforms and Figma is a bonus but not required.
  • We are a fully distributed team, you must be able to work from home.
