MediaMonks, New York is looking for a Social Media Manager to manage the social media and digital content efforts for a world famous fashion brand. These Content Creator responsibilities will include identifying opportunities on client interfacing, creating content and copy, managing the brand’s social channels and interacting with the community. It’s a position that blends a creative approach with the operational side of managing social media and digital channels. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing, social media management and/or digital advertising. Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online content to promote both, company and products.
Responsibilities:
- Create content calendars, identify insights and opportunities
- Interact with the community to create a healthy environment
- Create copy and content alongside a video editor, produce and write blog posts or articles for the brand’s website
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
- Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate content
- Update our websites as needed
- Primary point of contact with client
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field
- Minimum 3 years work experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, Community Manager, Copywriter or similar role
- Experience on managing brand’s social media channels
- Big plus: Experience with fashion, lifestyle and apparel
- Presentation skills
- Excellent writing skills with portfolio or samples to share with us
